“I have been working Graham Ford Architects as our Architects  for almost 10 years. They have carried out numerous different projects from small house extensions to major House refurbishments with basements, flat conversions and most recently an exciting new build house project which they took from conception to design, planning and full project management.

I find Graham very easy to work with and he has an excellent knowledge of the construction process. I have recently started a new project with Graham and Simona and look forward to continuing our working relationship with the firm .”

Should You Attend This Webinar?

If your building requires any design changes to attract more customers and users in a post COVID-19 scenario then this webinar was made for you. During a 1hr session we will run you though the big opportunities in technology, manufacturing and sustainable design that we can take advantage of to help you upgrade your existing building or design a new facility.

One of the biggest benefits to this webinar is that you will have clarity on how to overcome the obstacles that you will face such as planning, how to avoid common mistakes, and we will undertake a deep dive into principles that will guide you through any design and construction project.

Will This Work For Me and My Building/Facility?

This webinar is tailor-made for you if you are a building owner, facilities manager, bursar, headmaster, operational manager, treasurer or secretary of a private members club, the member of a university development committee or a business owner who is undertaking a building design project.

If you are running already established facilities/buildings and have a clear understanding of where they are heading and the value you bring to their consumers then this webinar is perfect for you.

The sectors and types of service based facilities/buildings that this process creates a lot of success and value tend to be:

– sports

– commercial

– leisure

These projects involve large sums of money and must run smoothly. The webinar will be equally useful for people who have done projects before or for those undertaking projects for the first time.

Why Listen to Graham Ford?

From my office in Hammersmith, I have worked across London and the South East since 2006. I know how the planning system works and I have observed planning becoming more complex and challenging. I specialise in the design of sports and leisure projects and I developed expertise in the sector working on the London 2012 Olympic Games.

I was the lead architect of the Roundhouse Theatre in Camden Town for John McAslan and Partners and I designed a low energy research facility in Kew Gardens for Wilkinson Eyre Architects before opening my office in 2006. I have designed low energy boating pavilions in Hyde Park and in the Lea Valley and I recently gained planning permission for a large hospitality project in a conservation area in North London.

I have a post graduate degree in sustainability. I am currently working with the RMIT University on post graduate research from their Barcelona campus. I have taught architectural design in a number of Russell Group universities.

I have just completed my first book which will be published by Re-Think Press in February 2022. The book is titled: “Effortless Construction From the Ground Up: How to Smooth out the bumpy road on major architectural projects. “
