Graham Ford

Graham is the founder of GFA overseeing the firm’s operations and design. Since 2006, he has directed efforts to expand the firm’s portfolio, extending GFAs capacity to deliver projects. Graham received his BArch and MArch from Victoria University of Wellington, and an PhD from RMIT University. He has been the recipient of numerous awards including a Victoria University Master’s Scholarship and a Todd Foundation Scholarship. Graham spent one year on an exchange scholarship at the University of California at Berkeley.

He has been working for over 22 years in residential, academic, institutional and sports projects including the London 2012 Olympic Games. Recently completed projects include Leiths School of Food and Wine. He is currently working on a major extension to the Harrow Masonic Centre, the River Club masterplan and Reading West Rail Station. Graham has been involved in several projects that have received design awards from the Royal Institute of British Architects including the Roundhouse Theatre in Camden Town.

Graham is author of the ‘The Total Environment Masterplan’, has taught design at Cardiff, Nottingham and Reading Universities and has lectured at the University of Bologna, the University of Manchester and the University of Reading.
